BIM validation for BIM and AEC teams

BIM validation for architects and BIM managers

You coordinate the model. DeltaARBIM lets you confirm the build actually matches it. Take your IFC model on site, overlay it on the real structure, and verify the field against your coordinated model to within 2 cm.

Your model is coordinated. The field may not be.

You clash-detect and coordinate in the office, then hand a clean model to the site. What you rarely get back is proof that what was built matches it.

  • A coordinated federated model open on a workstation

    No proof the field matches

The model leaves the office coordinated. Nothing comes back that confirms the building agrees with it.

  • An engineer on a site walk holding a tablet showing the model

A resolved clash, built wrong anyway

You moved the duct in the model. Whether it moved on site is a separate question, and usually an unanswered one.

  • Site engineer comparing a tablet overlay against an installed services run

    RFIs arrive instead of answers

The first signal that reality drifted is a question from site, by which point somebody has already stopped work.

  • The model loses its authority

A record that does not match the building stops being consulted, and every hour that went into coordinating it is spent.

The frameworks your model is already governed by

None of this is new to you. It is set out here because on-site validation slots into it rather than replacing any of it.

Information management across the lifecycle and through delivery: how the model is produced, exchanged and approved. It governs the model's journey up to the point it reaches site, and stops there.

Take the coordinated model to the wall.

Bring your IFC model, exported from Revit or Navisworks, onto the site. Anchor it to the structure with LiDAR and walk the build with each trade on its own layer, drawn over the real world to within 2 cm.

  • Confirm the field matches

Trade by trade, against the model you coordinated, to within 2 cm.

  • Capture deviations in place

Each one tagged to its exact position in the model, not described in a message.

  • Report back to the office

So the model and the build stay in step, and your team updates the record from something specific.

Trades on screen

Clash detected

The same trade switches you use to coordinate, running over the real structure. Isolate one discipline and check it where it was built.

DeltaARBIM is IFC native and verifies structure, walls, and MEP against the model to within 2 cm, offline, proven on real builds including two commercial complexes and a hospital.

  • IFC native
  • ±2 cm
  • Works offline
  • Layer by layer

Keep the model authoritative.

When the field is verified against the model, RFIs drop, disputes shrink, and the as-built you hand over is one you can stand behind. A clash caught in the model costs a fraction of the same clash found on site, and on-site validation is how you make sure the one you resolved actually stayed resolved.
