Defence BIM validation
Defence BIM validation, offline and inside your perimeter
DeltaARBIM verifies the build against your IFC model on site, fully offline and self-hosted, with no signal, no markers, and no data leaving the perimeter. Accurate to 2 cm.
On a defence build, the model is a security asset and the site has no signal.
A single BIM model holds the exact dimensions of blast-resistant walls, surveillance layouts, and underground utility runs. It cannot sit on a public cloud, and the site itself usually has no connectivity. Most verification tools assume both.

Sensitive by design
The model contains information that cannot leave the perimeter. Verification cannot depend on a public cloud.

No connectivity
Secure sites have no signal and no cloud access. A tool that needs the internet does not work here.
Tight tolerances
A few centimetres out can compromise a hardened structure. There is no room to be approximately right.
Need-to-know access
Contractors should see only the zone they are building, not the whole facility.
The standards a defence build is held to
Defence does not mandate one software brand. It mandates security-minded information management and strict data handovers. The core framework is ISO 19650-5.
| Category | Core defence requirements |
|---|---|
| Mandatory guidelines | US: UFC 1-300-09N (DoD BIM mandate). UK: DEFCON 687b (common working environments). |
| Technical data handovers | COBie asset data for operations, and open IFC coordination formats. |
| Common data environment | Secure or self-hosted CDE conforming to local military hosting rules. |
| Required submittals | BIM Execution Plan (BEP or PxP), and regular clash and interference checks. |
BIM is already standard on defence infrastructure. Public examples from other organisations include US Air Force MILCON projects such as HQ CENTCOM, US Army Corps of Engineers barracks pilots, as-built MEPF modelling at US naval yards, and the UK Ministry of Defence's Project Allenby/Connaught under DEFCON 687b. The direction of travel is clear: models on site, verified against reality.
On-site validation that respects the security model
DeltaARBIM checks the real build against your IFC model to within 2 cm, and it does so in a way that fits how defence handles data.
Fully offline and air-gapped
Runs on the device with no signal and no cloud, so it works on a site cut off from the internet.
Self-hosted
Your models and results stay inside your own environment. Nothing leaves the perimeter to be checked.
Scope-limited
Give a contractor only the zone and model they are building, in line with compartmentalisation and red/black separation.
No markers, no QR codes
LiDAR anchors the model to the structure, so no external infrastructure is added to a secure site.
IFC native
Works with your coordinated model and open IFC handovers.

Trades on screen
Clash detected
Switch a trade off and the clash stops being an argument. The same controls run on site, offline, on the device your team carries.
This approach aligns with the principles of ISO 19650-5 and air-gapped CDE requirements. DeltaARBIM is the on-site verification layer, not a replacement for your CDE or your accreditation process.
DeltaARBIM already runs fully offline and verifies real builds to within 2 cm, proven on live sites including two commercial complexes and a hospital.

Get it right where there is no room to be wrong
On a defence build, tolerances are tight, rework is slow and costly to arrange, and data cannot leave the site. Catching a deviation on the walk keeps the structure right the first time, without sending a single byte off the perimeter.

See it run with the network switched off.
We will run a 30 minute walkthrough on an IFC model you provide, offline, so you can judge the 2 cm and the zero-connectivity claim for yourself before committing to anything.
Bring your IFC model. We will run it offline, inside your perimeter.
